New York art pop duo NO EVENS consists of vocalist/lyricist Jessie Malone and producer/multi-instrumentalist Adam Zucker. Conjuring Adele at her most vulnerable and Amy Winehouse at her most honest, Malone’s singular voice and personal lyrics sit starkly against the rich, dynamic landscapes of Zucker’s productions. The result is an inquisitive and prodding brand of electronic indie pop reminiscent of Bishop Briggs and Glass Animals, with a unique immediacy and approachability that encourages conversation about the way the world is, and the way it could be.
