The Black and Latino Film Awards was created to honour the work BLFC members and their immediate film and television community. The nominees for the Black and Latino Film Awards were selected by BLFC membership for Best Performance\, and other categories for feature film\, short film and episodic writers\, directors\, and producers\, as well as a Lifetime Achievement Award. \nThis year BLFC salutes Warrington Hudlin for decades of foundation building work with the Black Filmmaker Foundation\, DV Republic\, IFP\, Tribeca AllAccess and Museum of Moving Image. Additionally\, his groundbreaking work in producing House Party\, Boomerang\, Bebe Kids and CosmicSlop.
